The Opportunity:
We’re seeking two experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our Black Swan manufacturing site in Clayton South. Reporting to the Reliability & Maintenance Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for executing preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site to ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and support safe, efficient production operations in fast-paced FMCG environment. We are recruiting for both morning and afternoon shift positions.
To Succeed With Us:
You’ll bring a proactive, safety-first mindset and strong mechanical capability, along with:
- Trade qualification in Engineering (Mechanical) – Certificate III minimum (Certificate IV desirable)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience using CMMS systems (MEX, Fiix or similar is highly regarded)
- Exposure to food manufacturing environments (desirable)
- A high level of attention to detail, quality workmanship and effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
