The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a commercially savvy and strategically minded National Account Manager to take ownership of our Woolworths customer group across Australia for our nudie business unit. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong relationship management to drive sustainable growth. You’ll lead joint business planning, deliver category-led solutions, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the national commercial relationship with Woolworths.
- Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to drive profit, share, and in-store excellence.
- Negotiate pricing, agreements, and strategic growth initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Build and execute channel strategies for grocery retail, leveraging insights and market data.
- Influence internal stakeholders to align NPD, brand plans, and supply chain priorities with customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply Chain, and Field Sales.
- Deliver on revenue, volume, margin, and trade investment targets.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and monthly sales reviews for your customer group.
To Succeed With Us:
- 7+ years of FMCG sales experience, including 3+ years in national account management.
- Proven success managing Woolworths or similar major retail accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with P&L and JBPs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and lead cross-departmental projects.
- Proficiency in category data tools (IRI, Nielsen), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Willingness to travel interstate as required.
