Job Description
The Exciting Opportunity:
Our Menora business is a far reaching face-to-face sales and independent distribution business with iconic brands (our own and agency) across fresh, chilled, frozen, grocery and household and we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join the Smithfield team.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for the execution of the Menora business strategy within the brands represented by Menora. The role will manage the relationships with Independent Supermarkets and is responsible for delivering against budgeted financials.
Implementing and executing strong collaborative business plans with Independent Customers across NSW, incorporating business growth targets, distribution, promotions, replenishment and retailer marketing
Working collaboratively with the Brand & Category team, Brands owner and Sales Operation, ensuring that the calibre of range review presentations and other engagements are at a high level of quality and in line with our internal needs and those of our customers
Managing the on-going relationship with the stake holder, the customer and the brand owner
Delivering against the key elements of the Budget including gross sales, market share objectives, gross margin and net sales delivery.
Participating in the S&OP process and in particular ensure forecasting of customer requirements occurs regularly, promotions are planned out in a timely manner and communicated through the demand team.
Discussing the forecast and understand what is occurring/changing the categories of responsibility
Executing a number of new SKU launches and increase overall brand exposure within Major Accounts
Creating a detailed analysis of the category, covering MNA’s performance, our competitors, and any trends within the category both domestic and overseas
Desired Skills and Experience
To Succeed With Us:
Tertiary level education in Marketing or Business preferred but not essential
Detailed experience in a similar role, managing major national grocery accounts
Previous experience in category / customer marketing
Ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships
Ability to successfully negotiate and influence with a track record of success
Strong financial acumen with experience in demand and forecasting and category analysis and reporting
