Job Description
The Opportunity
Our Black Swan team are currently seeking experienced Forklift Driver to join the team! As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for the receipt, distribution and warehousing of all raw materials and finished goods from our Clayton South site, in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
All applications for this position must have a current and valid forklift licence. Please note this is an AM Shift role, with hours being 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday-Friday.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Safe forklift operation and movement of warehousing consumables
Liaise with production staff to ensure optimum warehousing performance
Determine material requirements in order to meet scheduling outcomes
Report any maintenance issues of forklifts, warehouse machinery and equipment
Identify issues in the warehouse operations that pose risk of non-conformance to quality and safety standards
Report any safety, quality control and food safety issues
Data capture, administrative tasks and reporting
Be aware of and committed to company and statutory health and safety regulations
Operate within all company policies and requirements, including standard operating procedures, personnel policies and systems
General housekeeping and cleaning as required
Desired Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess:
Minimum 3 years experience in receivals and despatch
Forklift licence essential
High reach (HR) experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with FMCG or warehousing
Understanding of food safety and relevant processes
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated drive, passion and commitment
Ability to plan
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Friendly, energetic, positive and customer-focused
