AM Shift - 6:00am - 2:00pm with occasional weekend work available

We are looking for someone to join our recently restructured Maintenance Team at Clayton. The AM Shift fitter role will be reporting to the newly created role of Reliability and Maintenance Manager and will be involved in MEX implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ongoing preventative maintenance and servicing of machinery within the facility to ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in prime and safe operating condition.
Reactive maintenance as required. Diagnosing faults and liasing with relevant stakeholders to manage downtime, while meeting production commitments.
Assist with stock control of all relevant spare parts.
Use CMMS (Mex) to assist in tracking our preventative/reactive work to help build predictive maintenance policy.
Drive a culture of safety throughout the organisation
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate:
3-5 years experience in an FMCG environment, ideally food and dairy products
Certificate 3 Electrical or Mechanical
PLC, Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting and hands on experience
Familiar with CMMS systems like MEX, etc
Electrician with strong mechanical aptitude / or mechanical trade with strong electrical.
Worked with variety of high speed equipment, food processing, fillers, packers etc.
Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Ability to use CMMS (Mex or equivalent) to ensure all work completed is logged and to assist in identification of trends / failure analysis.
Working knowledge of EHS, with a "safety always mindset"
